Signup to contest

 

Sign-up is now CLOSED.

All sign-up periods are closed and the signed up pilots are found in this list: Signed-up pilots 

 

Sign-up information

Signup will be run in three different slots: Primary sign-up, Secondary sign-up and Late sign-up.

Primary sign-up is open March 1st until May 31st .

Secondary sign-up is open June 1st until June 30th .

Late sign-up is open July 1st until July 30th .

 

Signup fees general 

Contest fee for participating in one class (WWI or WWII) is 600 SEK.

Contest fee for participating in both classes (WWI and WWII) is 750 SEK.

Sign up during Seondary sign-up adds 50 SEK to the fees above (650 SEK to signup for 1 class)

Sign up during Late sign-up adds 200 SEK to the fees above (800 SEK to sign-up for 1 class)

If pilot signing up is below 18 years old, a 50% discount is applied to the above fees .

If you want to book a camping on the contest site you will do this at the same time as you sign-up for the contest.

ACES Aircombat National Contacts must coordinate all pilots from each country in signing up.

Pilots obligations

Pilots that are EU citizens need bring EU approved Identification, to be assured getting emergency medical aid at Swedish hospital. Non EU citizens need health insurance papers, to get emergency medical aid at hospital. ID or papers described must be showed at pilot check-in to be able to participate, so that we know that each partipating pilot will have no trouble in getting emergency medical aid if an accident of some sort happen during this event.

At pilot check-in each pilot must sign that he agrees to the rules of this event and will obey the safety rules.

Pilots invitation

We have issued an official general invitation after second sign-up period was closed. This official invitation may help some of you in your travel to Sweden. Official invitation (PDF)  plus Late signup list

Pilots and Helpers Visum application (non-EU citizens only) 

Pilots and helpers from non-EU country may need a Visum (or Visa) to enter EU and Sweden. Each pilot and helper is responsible of applying and getting this Visum/Visa. Contest arranging group (ACES/Sweden and the Swedish Model Flyers Federation SMFF) will help in this by issuing a contest invitation to each pilot and helper who needs such an invitation for his/her Visum application. Please contact Contest Director Martin Elmberg at martin.elmberg (at) gmail.com (replace (at) with @ ) to get this personal contest invitation and other papers you may need.
